18th ANNUAL WALLOWA MOUNTAIN QUILTERS GUILD SHOW – June 11-12, 2010
Wallowa Mountain Quilters Guild sponsors their 18th annual show June 11-12, 2010. Held at the Joseph High School, 400 East Wm. E. Williams Avenue, Joseph, Oregon, this show features approximately 150 beautifully made quilts. This is a show where you’ll find a variety of quilts, ranging from traditional to artsy to landscape and wildlife scenes. Karen Schoepflin Hagen is the featured quilter at the 2010 show. This year the show organizers are calling for “speciality” and “art” quilts. The show also features a silent auction, concessions and a vendor mall. For the folks who may not enjoy quilt shows, the Oregon Mountain Cruise car show is this same weekend. The Mountain Cruise features about 300 street rods, classics, and vintage cars! September 10-12, 2010 marks the date for the HELLS CANYON MULE DAYS Quilt Show. This show is held at the Cloverleaf Hall, 602 NW First Street, Enterprise, Oregon. Each year over 100 vintage, traditional and contemporary quilts are displayed at this show. There is even a special category for quilts designed with a Mule motif!
